Near Mind from Ptolemaida(Greece) is a 4 piece nu metal band combining the aggressive and melodic element both in music and vocals. 

Near Mind formed in 2011, they have released 2 EPs and 2 singles. Near Mind have played several live shows around Greece. Notable shows to mention are, River Party festival, one of the biggest festivals in Greece and as a support act for the Greek stoner band Planet of Zeus. In October 2014 Near Mind was chosen as the first and only Greek representation of the national nu metal compilation “Children of Nu metal” with their song Terror Sight. They also manage to score another entrance on the New Metal 4U collection from bands from around the world, with the song Scarecrow. Also, Scarecrow is the track that the band decided to visualise as their first official video clip, which was released in January 2016
